Selection Process

There is no written examination or interview for this recruitment.

  • Merit-Based: Selection is based entirely on a combined merit list.
  • Weightage: The list is generated by taking the average of the percentage marks obtained in both your 10th Class and your ITI examination (both are given equal 50% weightage).
  • Final Steps: Shortlisted candidates will be invited for Document Verification (where address proof for the eligible districts will be strictly checked) and a Medical Examination.

Document Checklist for Address Verification

Since eligibility is strictly tied to your home district, the document verification phase will heavily scrutinize your proof of residence. Make sure you have at least one (preferably two) of the following valid documents ready:

  • Domicile / Residency Certificate: The most highly recommended document. Issued by a competent government authority (like a Tehsildar, MRO, or District Magistrate) of the eligible district.
  • Aadhaar Card: Must reflect your permanent address strictly within the eligible district limits.
  • Voter ID Card: Showing a registered address in the eligible region.
  • Nativity Certificate: Issued by the state government specifically for education or employment purposes.

Note: Temporary documents like rent agreements or utility bills might not be accepted on their own. Always rely on official, permanent government-issued identity and residency certificates.

Because this is an apprenticeship program, candidates receive a monthly stipend during their training period rather than a permanent salary.
