The Commission of Railway Safety (CRS) has recently issued a recruitment circular for the post of Commissioner of Railway Safety.

Job Description

- Age Limit – 56 years
- Qualification – Recruitment criteria state that IRSE cadre officers fill 60% of the nine available CRS I.E. 05 posts, while IRSME/IRSE/IRTS Cadre Office fills 40% of the I.E. 04 posts. As a result, notice is given that the IRSE cadre’s eligible officers will be considered for the aforementioned vacancy. officials of 1RSE are to fill 60% of the total posts of Railway Safety Commissioner, with IRSME/IRSEE/IRSSE/IRTS officials filling the other 40%. The positions will be filled by absorption from officers holding comparable positions or after five years of continuous service in the Senior Administrative Grade (SAG), or level 14 of the pay matrix according to the 7th CPC.
