The Central University of Tamil Nadu (CUTN) has recently issued a recruitment circular for the post of  Information Scientist and Assistant Librarian, Lower Division Clerk, and Laboratory Attendant.

Job Description
  1. Post Name – Information Scientist and Assistant Librarian, Lower Division Clerk, Multi-Tasking Staff
  2. Age Limit – Maximum 40 years
  3. Qualification – knowledge of library computerization and a minimum of 55% in a master’s degree in library science or information science. Except in certain circumstances for those with a Ph.D., NET qualification is necessary.
  4. Pay Scale – (UR-1, EWS-1, OBC-1, SC-1) – 4 Posts, Pay Level-2

Age Relaxation – According to government regulations, some groups, including SC/ST, OBC, PWD, and Central Government employees, are entitled to age relaxation.

Selection Procedure – Written exams and interviews are used in the selection process for various positions. There may be a written exam and a skill test for Group C positions like LDC, MTS, and Attendants. Interviews will be held for Group A positions such as Assistant Librarian and Information Scientist.

How to Apply – Use these procedures to submit an application for the CUTN Non-Teaching Recruitment 2024:

  1. Online Application: Applicants must use the Samarth Portal (cutnnt.samarth.edu.in) to submit their applications. From October 2, 2024, to October 31, 2024, the online application portal will be accessible.
  2. Hard Copy Submission: Upon completing the online application, applicants must mail the printed application to the institution together with the necessary paperwork and receipts for the money. By October 11, 2024, the envelope should be addressed to The Joint Registrar, Recruitment Cell, Central University of Tamil Nadu, Neelakudi, Thiruvarur – 610 005, Tamil Nadu, with the label “Application for the post of ______.”
  3. Application cost Payment: State Bank Collect is an online option for paying the application cost. The Samarth Portal is where the fee payment information must be input.
