The entire production, from sourcing materials, to commissioning the product, is done under the supervision of a supply chain executive, a QA manager or a CQA Manager, who is responsible for ensuring the highest quality at each process in the supply chain. This role participates in the preparation of quality management plans and their implementation, performs audits, and ensures compliance with corporate and regulatory requirements. For the purposes of addressing quality issues, or eliminating risk issues and increasing efficiency of operations, this manager interacts with suppliers, production departments and other functional areas within the organization. Their responsibilities additionally include measurement and analysis of key performance indicators to enhance supply chain efficiency and ensure that products meet regulatory and customer requirements.
