Roles & Responsibilities

As a Construction Site Driver for WorleyParsons, you will be responsible for the logistical backbone of the project. Your primary duties will include:

  • Material & Equipment Transport: Safely operate vehicles to transport heavy building materials, machinery, tools, and equipment to and around the construction site.
  • Personnel Transport: Ensure the safe and timely transportation of workers, staff, and supervisors between the site and designated locations.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct daily routine checks on all site vehicles, including monitoring fuel, oil, and tire pressure, to ensure they are safe and in good working order.
  • Loading & Unloading: Actively assist with the loading and unloading of heavy cargo, ensuring all materials are securely fastened and handled correctly during transport.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, site-specific safety protocols, and construction regulations, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Delivery Coordination: Work closely with site management and logistics teams to coordinate deliveries, ensuring materials and equipment arrive on schedule to meet project deadlines.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed logs of all deliveries, vehicle maintenance activities, mileage, and any on-site incidents.
